Home, Home on the Navajo Rez
Thank you Zack Bent and his wife, Gaila, for giving us the idea of a blogspot. We enjoy reading about your lives!
Jesse's wonderful garden struggled last night against temperatures falling as low as 20 degrees only to have survived with blackened dead leaves and bowing stems. This means a season of beautiful changing aspen leaves, Baseball playoff season and the Chuska Challenge (more on this to come in future postings).
We hope this blogspot keeps you informed with visual aids and reading material about Rez life and our lives.
Tomorrow we are hosting our first ever croquet tournament with several of Jesse's 8th grade students who seem to find their way to our home after school. Be sure to stay in tune for the results and pictures.
